Azerbaijan and Pakistan signed bilateral agreements

   On July 11-12, 2024, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited Islamic Republic of Pakistan. During his official visited the following bilateral agreements were signed:
   –
Memorandum of Understanding on consular cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries.
   – Agreement on transit trade between the governments of Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
   – Preferential trade agreement between the governments of the two countries.
   – Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of privatization of state property between the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Communications and Privatization of Pakistan.
   – Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of both countries.
   – Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of mineral resources and geology.
   – A cultural exchange program between countries for 2024-2029 has been concluded.
   – Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies.
   – Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between “Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting” CJSC and “Pakistan Television Corporation” LLC.
   – Agreement on scientific and technological cooperation.
   – Agreement on tourism cooperation.
   – Agreement on air services.
   – Memorandum of twinning between the capitals of the two countries – Baku and Islamabad.
   – Memorandum of Understanding between the SME Agencies of both countries.
   – Memorandum of Understanding between the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and the Pakistan Academy of Literature.
