Media subjects are exempt from some taxes

   Income of media entities (individuals (except for journalists) or legal entities engaged in publishing and/or dissemination of mass information) from their activities, including advertising revenue, as well as financial assistance provided to them by the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, exempted from income and simplified taxes, as well as income tax. 
   According to the Law, these benefits will be valid for 3 years, starting from January 1, 2023.
   President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the implementation of new amendments to the Tax Code of Azerbaijan.
   Also, the above benefits do not apply to subjects of audiovisual media.
